  not welcoming, the lady at the counter forgot to order part of it, when we asked, we got a mocha coffee instead of our cake. we did not get any apologies, the chocolate cake was really dry, tasted burnt and was expensive. The younger lady was efficient and nice but we ll never return there for sure : bad lunch, bad service. no water for example/

  Currently driving out to Hanging Rock, read the reviews for this cafe, decided to stop at a cafe in Woodend instead. Thanks for the heads up.

  Friendly staff and very tasty and generous sausage roll. Also had a chance to see the local kangaroo have a nap.

  Freezing cold day. Terrible service. Told we couldn't sit at a table in front of the fire as we were only two people and it was a 4 seat table so had to sit at a 2 seat table behind the fire in case they got busy. The dining room was completely empty apart from one other table of 4. And no, they didn't get busy. Later told we could sit in front of the fire as long as we weren't going to take too long to drink our coffee. Such a shame as it could have been such a lovely experience. The scone with jam and cream was nice.
